The D.L. Evans Company was founded in 1964 by Madison native Donald L. Evans. The firm is a full-service real estate company that specializes in real estate brokerage and development, counseling and valuation. Clients include institutional organizations, public and privately held companies and private parties. The firm enjoys an unparalleled reputation in the local market with respect to qualifications, experience, and professionalism.

A majority of the firm=s work involves real estate related practices in the state of Wisconsin with a concentration in the greater Madison and Dane County area. The firm maintains a full-time staff of licensed real estate brokers and licensed and certified real estate appraisers. Although established as a commercial real estate firm, the areas of Company expertise have expanded to include multi-family and single-family residential sales and appraisals.

Valuation
The majority of the D. L. Evans Company's valuation assignments include appraisals of commercial and residential real estate for lenders, life insurance companies, mortgage brokers, the Internal Revenue Service, the United States Government, public and privately held corporations, attorneys, and individuals. Valuation expertise extends to medical clinics and hospitals, office build¬ings, retail and shopping centers, banking facilities, laboratory and research facilities, apartment complexes, mixed use develop¬ments, manufacturing plants, warehouses, industrial and distribution facilities, community based residential facilities, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, residential subdivisions, vacant lands and development sites, restaurants, resorts and campgrounds, amusement parks and golf courses.

Counseling
The Company's counseling assignments include corporate real estate strategic planning, site selection, highest and best use and feasibility analysis, investment analysis, lease analysis, management analysis, portfolio analysis, marketing analysis, and comprehensive asset disposition strategies and implementation. The Company also provides land planning services including support for TIF analysis, economic considerations of neighborhood land use planning, building and neighborhood redevelopment analysis, and alternative site use studies. Clients include local, national, and multinational corporations, in addition to private individuals. The D.L. Evans Company also provides services to a variety of local, state, and national governmental institutions, including the University of Wisconsin, the State of Wisconsin, and the Madison Metropolitan School District.

Brokerage
The D.L. Evans Company has listed and sold many types of real estate, including office buildings, retail centers, industrial facilities, medical clinics, hotels and resorts, large and small apartment complexes and vacant development sites. D. L. Evans Company brokers have represented buyers of real estate for many types of real property and are versed in facility needs analysis, site selection and issues of feasibility. In the commercial lease market, the Company works with both landlords and tenants. With respect to development services, the Company and its principals have been involved in the development of residential subdivisions, apartment buildings, office buildings, motels, retail buildings and mixed-use facilities. Project types include build-to-suit, speculative and multi-tenant facilities. This first-hand expertise is applied to client advisory services including project feasibility analysis and project management.
